YSpace began in 2023 as an initiative of five students from Brno University of Technology who shared a common ambition: to build a real satellite mission and create opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in the space sector.
What started as a small team has since grown into a multidisciplinary organization bringing together students from across the university. Through projects such as KOSTKA and CIMER, YSpace has evolved from an idea into a platform where students can develop technologies, collaborate with industry partners, and contribute to real space missions.
