A student-led space team from Brno University of Technology building real missions for real orbit.

WHERE THEORY MEETS PRACTICE

At YSpace, what we learn at university becomes a starting point for real projects. Students apply their knowledge to designing, building, testing and operating space technologies while working alongside people from different fields.

From engineering and science to software, project management, marketing, we bring together different skills to work towards a common goal: developing missions that go beyond the classroom and into the real world.

FROM AN IDEA TO A SPACE TEAM

YSpace began in 2023 as an initiative of five students from Brno University of Technology who shared a common ambition: to build a real satellite mission and create opportunities for students to gain hands-on experience in the space sector.

What started as a small team has since grown into a multidisciplinary organization bringing together students from across the university. Through projects such as KOSTKA and CIMER, YSpace has evolved from an idea into a platform where students can develop technologies, collaborate with industry partners, and contribute to real space missions.

WHY IT MATTERS

The Czech space sector is growing rapidly, creating new opportunities for engineers, scientists, entrepreneurs and innovators. YSpace helps prepare the next generation by giving students practical experience with real technologies, real projects and real responsibility.
